New year thoughts

Its new year's eve today. A few more hours and we'll celebrate new year. So, how have 2004 been for me? Well, here's a quick recap for what had happened during the year.

I started off having holidays in Malaysia, had a great time with great food and great friends. Then on mid February, I came back to Australia with 3 of my good friends (Sharon, Joyce and Andrew). At 1st they wanted to look for a place to move to... only to find that my place is still the best :P So in the end, we all stayed together, 5 person in a 2 room apartment. Not bad huh! It was truly an experience I would never forget.

Me, Joyce and Andrew went for a trip to Sydney, Melbourne and Tazmania during mid year break. It was a great adventure :) We tried skiing for the 1st time and that was way cool and tiring as well hehe... I'm keeping my gloves and beanies for my next ski trip!

Yeah, I started blogging, got really addicted to it and soon lost interest! :P haha That's just so me!

I finished my degree! I'm not going back to studies anymore! I guess I've had enough of studying for 15 years. That also means new adventure to the working world. Well, here I go!

The lease of my previous rental place ended. So I've had a week of busy packing, moving, cleaning and organizing. Now I'm staying with Lorraine in her small, packed, hot room for just $45 a week! Oh, I'm not complaining hehe....

My registration car plate number was stolen. So I got a pair of new ones for just $20. Well, byebye to 825IGF.... now my baby has a new name *048IIC*

Just recently I've celebrated Christmas in Brissy for the 1st time! No white christmas, no happening events... but its something different :)

Well, I can say that its been a pretty normal year. What can be so different in a student's life, right? Anyway I hope that next year will be a better year :) And God will continue to bless us throughout the year, right? Have a good one, cheers!

Announcement

Hmm... 3 posts today hahah.... Suddenly I have a bursting desire to shout out to the world :) I do hope this desire won't stop right here... I do wish to keep this blog alive... But 1st I need to spend time on my more important things mah... do understand k

1st announcement: My graduation ceremony will be on 15th of February. If you wish to attend, do let me know... I'll be very touched :) Book your tickets early! Its running out fast! hehe...

2nd announcement: I'm coming home to KL at the end of February, after my graduation. Anyone willing to give me a lift home from the airport? Anyone dying to see me? Friends in KL, I miss you guys heaps!!

3rd announcement: I'm doing fine over here... have been busy with Christmas and all, mostly shopping hehe... I've got 6 presents this year :D the best one is a hand-made hanging lantern from a great friend... he did it himself and it took him 6 hours straight! Thanx a lot... I love it!

4th announcement: I sang a song (solo) on Christmas party, in front of many strangers. My 1st time! I was so nervous I went stiff! I'm really really glad its over (phew'), but I'm glad I got the experience as well...

Well, that's all for tonight! Good night people... ZZzzz......

Favourite christmas song!

O little town of bethlehem by Jewel

O little town of bethlehem
How still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The ever lasting light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

For christ is born of mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wandering love
O morning stars, together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to god the king
And peace to men on earth

O holy child of bethlehem!
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born in us today

We hear the christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell

O come to us, abide with us
Our lord immanuel!
And peace to men on earth
Merry Christmas everyone!

MIA

So weird, I hadn't blogged for a month. It seems that I had lost interest in writing quite a bit. I use to spend hours to compose my posts. Where has my passion gone? Do I have nothing to share? Oh no, I have many things I could share... laughters, joy, disappointments.... but then suddenly, I felt like being invisible.

Why?

Have you ever felt like going someplace alone, away from all the others? Some place where no one will judge what you are doing? Some place where you can enjoy your own company, doing what you enjoy doing most without thinking of what other's opinions may be. Well, I'm not saying that my friends always judge me. I'm not saying that my friends think of me wrongly. And I'm also not saying that I always do things that my friends do not approve me of. But sometimes I guess I just need to be alone. I guess as much as I need my friends, I need my privacy as well.

Or maybe its because I care too much of what people think of me? I'm being too careful with what I do, afraid that people will think that I'm a weirdo, afraid that people wouldn't like me...

Insecurities are tying me me down....

Until next time... see you
