September
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when september ends here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends This song reminds me of the many things that happened in this month. Why do they sing a song about September? Does September mean anything to them? This month a close friend went away to UK to continue his studies. Going to miss him. I wonder if things will be the same when he comes back next year? Maybe he would have UK-accented english by then, unlike now, funny manglish in every sentence. Things always change... no matter how much you want them to stay...
